The criteria for doctors to participate in this system require that they must be specialists in their field or experts in a specific area, such as prosthetics, physiotherapy, nutrition, and so on. Additionally, they must be legally employed and registered with their respective professional councils, such as the Medical Council of Tanzania (MCT) or other relevant regulatory bodies. A specialist who is not registered is considered to be operating illegally, and therefore, does not meet the qualifications to serve in the specialized clinic. As a result, they are not entitled to any payment or compensation for their services.
This system is a way to enable a doctor to directly communicate with their patient, listen to the issues they are experiencing, provide advice or instructions, and offer the opportunity for the doctor to stay in contact with the patient during times of need or for follow-up on treatments or research.
This system and the information contained within it are confidential between the doctor and their patient. The system administrators will have access to monitor the progress of services with the aim of improving care and facilitating communication. This confidentiality will always be maintained, and no one has the right to disclose or distribute a patient's information without the patient's explicit written consent and signature.
All services available within this system, including education, training, and advertisements, are free of charge. However, if a patient wishes to consult with any specialist doctor, they will be required to contribute a small fee. A significant portion of this fee (60%) will be used to thank the doctor for their willingness and voluntary service. The remaining portion of the fee will be considered as a donation, legally directed to assist children with disabilities across the country. This fee will cover the patient's consultations with that specific specialist doctor for an entire week, without any additional charges for further communication. If the patient wishes to consult a different doctor, a separate fee will apply. The weekly service fee for one specialist doctor is a one-time payment for that week.
Language and images that are indecent, disrespectful, or violate the morals and ethics of the respective country are not permitted. This is illegal, and engaging in such behavior may result in the suspension of services on your account.
If a patient is not satisfied with the services provided by one doctor, they have the option to request continued care from other specialist doctors available within the system.
If a patient feels they have been treated unfairly, mistreated, or if their services have been suspended, they are encouraged to contact customer support. The team will be ready to listen and work towards improving and enhancing their experience. In such cases, the patient may first need to reach out to the respective doctor to understand the source of the issue. We kindly ask for your cooperation in such situations.
This system is not a pharmacy and will not be used to distribute medication to patients.
